Solar Flare Solar Prominence 21-Feb-2004 Here is a close-up of the larger prominence from 2-14-04. With this image you can better follow the plasma in the magnetic field back to the surface of the Sun where it becomes a nice filament.

Sunspot 484 Sunspot 484 09-Nov-2003 The white light shot of Sunspot 484 was take with a Baader visual filter, plus a Televue binoviewer with 25mm Takahashi Ortho's in place for eyepieces. A Fujifilm 6800z digital camera was hand held to the 25mm Ortho's. The white light picture was taken 10-21-03.
